What does webhosting cost?

Can I have audio and video files on my page?
Yes you can, and it doesn't cost extra - you pay the same price for each page regardless of what is on it. You do have to provide the audio and/or video files in a format suitable for the Internet. For video, this can be AVI (.avi), Windows Media (.wmv), MPEG (.mpg or .mpeg) or QuickTime (.mov). For audio, this is preferrably WAVE (.wav) or MP3 (.mp3 or .mpga).

Who writes the text for the site?
We ask you to provide the text of the website as you know best what the strong points of your services are that you should communicate. If you would like to have your text checked by a third party marketing specialist, we can arrange that too at an additional fee.

Can I have the design of the site changed if I don't like it?
We will keep adjusting the design of the site until you are totally happy with it. Only then will we start making the pages, according to your approved design.

How do I get a domain and webhosting?
We can arrange that for you. You do have to pay the costs of webhosting and domain name registration separately, but they are relatively low. Click here for details.

How can I update my site with news and events afterwards?
Providing you use a webhost that allows you to get into the File Manager of your site, such as Total Choice Hosting we will give you instructions as to how you can go into the applicable file yourself and make small textual changes, such as updating the news and events page. You can always call or email us for help. We can also make updates for you at a small fee.

What do I have to provide to enable you to make my website?
You will have to provide any images of yourself or your company that you might want included on the site. We will also ask you to provide text for the site, and we will ask you if you have any preference for colors or any specific design elements. You will also need webhosting and domain name registration. You can take care of this yourself or we can arrange it for you, or direct you to where you need to go to get it.
